TOUR DE FRANCE
they wrote this in the gardian news paper:-

Aysgarth on the route is a classic Dales village with beautiful waterfalls and many links with the French monks - the abbot's stall and parts of the rood screen from Jervaulx are safely recycled in its St Andrew's church. The George & Dragon is one of many local outlets for the excellent Black Sheep beer brewed down the dale in Masham, although riders are unlikely to be able to stop.

G&D team came 5th out of 9 so not the best really. They need more practice!!

well the fate was bit of a wash out but they tried there best ( well done everyone)
quiotes still got played in our carpark and well done to DICKIE METCALF for winning!!

they said they had a good day and no rain :)) bonus!
but not many birds came back so not on menu yet!! Next time!!

its the first day of grouse shooting but with it being a sunday they are not allowed to shoot.
so they will be heading out tomorrow ( monday) for there first day. hope you have a fab day to all!!

we will hold another later in year so keep look out.

there is a 1940 weekend in leyburn on 27th /28th july well worth the visit.
